Bethesda, MD - With the addition of five new names to the ever-growing list of adapters available with netTerrain's Integration Toolkit, Graphical Networks is banking on the power of automation to leverage existing data sources for IT documentation.
Since the inception of netTerrain, the ability to bring in asset information from external databases has been a staple of Graphical Networks' software implementation strategy. With predefined connections to leading Network and Asset Management Systems that can collect and synchronize device attributes directly into netTerrain, customers can drastically reduce implementation timeframes and ensure that the network inventory repository with all associated views is reconciled with the original sources.
The new adapters include:
- VMware Virtual Center / VCenter
- Microsoft MoM
- HPoV Operations
- CA Concord eHealth
- CA Unicenter Tng
In all cases, these adapters will be ready to Insert, Update or delete device data using configurable fields for unique name (Asset tags, DNS names, IP addresses, physical addresses, etc) and type reconciliation (machine type). Device configuration and status scheduling can be set up to collect data with a frequency of a few seconds to once a week.
