netTerrain does not impose a limit on named users whereas graphTerrain's license model is based on the number of users that will edit the diagrams (see licensing). Both products allow for unlimited viewers.
How many concurrent users are supported?
Both netTerrain and graphTerrain support over 100 concurrent users.
What are the system requirements for Graphical Networks' products?
There are two components that are required: the database server and the client computers that will deploy the front-end application. The database server requires SQL Server 2005 or 2008 and IIS (5.1 or better), as well as .NET framework 3.5.
How are the products priced?
netTerrain offers a very simple licensing schema that suits organizations of any size. The licensing is based on the number of devices inventoried (a router, a computer or a power strip count as 1 device). Cards, ports, other subcomponents, cables or any location information do not count as devices.
graphTerrain is priced per number of editors. Editors can create, delete and edit objects as well as run reports, audit trails, and update the catalog of objects. There are no restrictions on the number of read-only viewers.
