- Experienced C# / T-SQL software developer - Washington, DC

We are looking for an agile C# Developer for a direct-hire opportunity. The salary is competitive and the work environment excellent. You can work from home and while we expect outstanding results we believe that one works to live, and not the other way round.

The following items are not just minor bullet points and fillers on your resume:
- Enterprise level application development and design in C#, ASP.NET and .NET 3.5
- Proven experience developing APIs and extensible, scalable software (open-closed principle anyone?)
- You should be able to dream in ADO.NET and T-SQL
- Practical OO design principles (while we appreciate your story about that time when you met the gang of four, staying pragmatic is a major plus)
- Test-driven development experience with NUnit
- You have to be familiar with the entire SDLC cycle in an agile environment using scrum, with lots of open source tools
- Php, MySQL and the Lamp stack in general is a plus
- Experience with netViz or Visio is a huge plus
- SaaS is a plus

If you are able to solve Rubik's cube in less than 53 seconds or explain the Riemann Hypothesis to one of our sales reps you will certainly make an impression with the geek community at GN, but you will interface with customers too. Directly. That means solving problems with a subject matter expert at a Data Center or even presenting a concept in front of a C-level executive. So those pesky soft skills will definitely come in handy.
